To the editor:
In Swampscott’s pivotal election for the next Select Board member, my steadfast choice is Danielle Leonard, and I implore you to join me in supporting her candidacy.
The role is undeniably daunting — I am confident she is ready to take on the demanding time commitment, willing to do the research to understand the complexities of issues, and will be resilient in the face of inevitable scrutiny. Most importantly, the ideal candidate must have my trust. Danielle has mine because I am confident in her character and integrity and know she is driven simply out of love for our town.
Danielle possesses a rare combination of collaborative spirit and decisive leadership — a combination perfectly suited to navigate the complexities of the position. Her profound understanding of Swampscott, coupled with an intuitive grasp of our collective aspirations, distinguishes her as an exceptional candidate.
With confidence, I pledge my support to Danielle, knowing that she embodies the characteristics of what our town needs and deserves.
Linda Hayes
