LYNN — Santa is a beloved, magical figure who exudes kindness, love, and goodwill. When a child can visibly see themselves reflected in someone as fantastic as Santa, it expands their own sense of belonging and helps them feel seen. Representation matters. It is North Shore Juneteenth’s hope that this event will increase inclusivity, foster belonging, and ultimately encourage pride in the diversity of our community.
The Inclusive Santa Event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Lynn Public Library.
This event is being organized by the North Shore Juneteenth Association, Theresa Guillaume, and other community members. We will have six Santa Clauses spanning various cultures. Attendees will be able to take pictures, decorate a cookie, and make a craft. This event is free to the community!
We are honored to collaborate with community partners that have generously sponsored the event so far. Thank you to Zen Center North Shore, the Energy Barre, and Cross Country Mortgage!
