For the Peabody Youth Hockey Squirt 1 team, losing is simply not an option.
The team, which has not lost since September, recently won the Challenge Cup Championship tournament at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, posting a perfect 5-0 record.
In pool play, Squirt 1 defeated the Wolfpack Hockey Club of New Jersey 6-0, the Nantucket Nor’easters 7-1, and Albany’s Troy 1-0. Squirt 1 defeated Wolfpack 6-1 in the semifinals, then clinched the championship with a 7-3 win over Connecticut’s Elite Academy in the final.
