Two found dead at Saugus apartment

SAUGUS — Two people were found dead inside an apartment building on Founders Way on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

No details of the deaths were immediately clear, with an active police response underway at the scene. Saugus Police and Fire responded to the scene, along with officials from the Department of Fire Services’ Hazardous Materials Response Division.

Assistant Police Chief Ronald Giorgetti said an investigation was underway.
